Canadian Passageways

Canadian Passageways examines how mountain passes are constructed and used in the western Canadian landscape today and how these unique east-ways passages influences Canadian lives. Made on major highways or secondary roads within Alberta and British Columbia, these pictures reflects on the route-finding achivements of the early explorers, the taming and reshaping of million-years-old mountainous landscapes, while contrasting with our collective contemporary dismissal or unawareness of how these colossal human corridors shaped the intrinsic fabric of Canada.
